About the track, Martin says: "Fun" was inspired by the merry-go-round we all ride called life! I wrote this upbeat summer song with two powerhouse writers, Kirsti Manna and Bill DiLuigi. Our world today is so fast-paced that we rarely take time to enjoy the moment or make time for our loved ones. This song was written prior to quarantine life. I think, now more than ever, we have come to realize those everyday moments we may have taken for granted. Everyone has been forced to slow down and focus on what is really important. After all, if life is short and tomorrow isn’t promised...we should be having fun! [. . .] In light of our current situation, it is also important to be responsible and follow proper safety precautions, but as things start returning to the new normal, it is the perfect time to reconnect with friends and family that we have missed seeing for far too long and get back to doing those things we enjoy and making memories."
